Heat on The Right Track

All is well in Miami Heat land. Or so it seems. LeBron James and head coach Eric Spoelestra worked out their differences. The Heat limped out to a 9-8 record. Yea, pretty impressive, huh. Listen, most basketball fans want the Heat to fail. it's unfair that much talent is on one team. Spoelestra is a quality coach. It would be a shame if the poor start cost him the coaching job. James is the key to the entire team's success. He needs realize he's playing with better talent than what was in Cleveland. He needs to make the team better around him.

Dwayne Wade needs to lead the team. Tell James that he needs to take control of games to win when necessary. James can still win games by dominating. He needs to learn how to include Wade and Chris Bosh into the offense. It also helps to have a pass first point guard. James and Wade are used to playing with the ball in their hands. They need to start playing as a team. Basketball fans that aren't Heat fans are loving the struggle. It brings the team down to earth. It also proves that players don't make a great team.

The great triumvirate of Wade, Bosh and James has faltered so far this season. Thursday will provide another interesting test for James. He returns to Cleveland for the first time since the announcement he was leaving to play for the Heat. The Quicken Loans Arena is doing a good job of preparing for the worst. Fans need to vent their frustration through boos, but Cleveland is known for being more than a little bitter. James and the Heat need to start a winning streak. Expect it to start against the Cavs on Thursday.
